You’ve undoubtedly heard from your grandmother as well as your mother that you should always wear clean underwear in case you were in an accident. Many people have been glad that they followed this edict from those who cared about them when they were in some sort of accident.

But, what other reasons would there be for the observance of wearing clean underwear? Well, first of all, let’s define what we mean by underwear.

Their reasoning is that the thong lies in closer proximity to the anus of the wearer. What they do not take into consideration is the hygiene of the person wearing the thongs. If that person bathes regularly, and wipes correctly following defecation, there is absolutely no reason why a thong would be more or less sanitary than any other underwear. 

Keeping in mind that clean undergear means socks, bras, Funny t shirts and the like, what is the reasoning for wearing clean under things? First of all, of course, is the fact that we need to deal with being out in public, and if those under things are not clean, then there is a good likelihood that we will offend others with our unpleasant odors. 

Human beings have various secretions concerning our bodies, the largest part is of course our sweat, which is what happens when it is very hot, or we exert ourselves. We sweat to keep us cool, but human sweat does create odor. 

As human beings, we also secrete a lot of oil on our bodies. Some areas secrete more oil than others, but our oils are found on all of the underwear we wear. The washing of under clothing in a good quality laundry detergent will not only gets rid of dirt, but it should also kill germs and the bacteria that are found on dirty clothing.

Of course, fecal matter is loaded with germs as well as bacteria, but not all people have that much fecal matter in their underwear, but if some is there, that too brings unsanitary conditions to the wearer and of course, it also creates odor. Because fecal matter may be so tiny as to not be seen by the human eye, changing to clean underwear daily is very important. 

Remember back in high school what your gym clothes smelled like after being put away in your locker dirty? Remember what the gym smelled like?
